Talking of Top Trumps, I 've still got my original set of 70's Supercars - re Steve McQueen thread.
Archie, Chinese Barbies are OK as long as you don't lick off the lead paint.

I shan't be there as I'm going to Hockenheim for the Ferrari Racing Days the same weekend.

Have yours got a 512 BB? Al must have lost his, or thrown it away when he threw away the 246 GT.

I've stopped licking the paint on Barbies, I had terrible stomach pains after I ate my lead soldiers

Malc, no probs. Did you go yesterday? If you did, you'd have probably seen my 3 foot 6 assistant dressed head to to in Ferrari gear hanging around the ferrari's

I am considering making one in. Busy work schedule at the minute though. It might have calmed a bit now though.

Am rallying on 29th at Chatsworth, not sure what I've had planned for me other than that!!

Found them yesterday - not Top Trumps - at work at the minute can't remember the make - 512BB but no 246. I'll check when I get home.
My parents still have my lead zoo animals - how come we are all still alive ??

It was just a conspiracy theory put out by the inventor of plastic. Next they'll be telling us it's not safe to live next door to a Nuclear power station

Same as global warming. It's all rubbish, what they forget to tell us is that we are still officially in an ice age. We will only be out of it when there is no ice on either pole. In the last million or so years the world has been in and out of ice ages something like 7 times, it takes appox 150000 years to go from one extreme to the other. It just so happens that the world is getting warmer, well big deal In another 100000 yrs or so it will get colder again. Just another plot to tax us all more and for the bean & lentil eating, sandle wearing hippies to start another riot and burn a few cars.

Rant over, I feel happier now

Marlin,
You are a real star That's exactly the same pack I had in 1976/7 and I remember that picture of the Boxer, it was the first time I fell in love with a car. I haven't seen it for years, but I can remember it like it was yesterday.
I'm much happier for seeing that I might even stop complaining about the sandal wearing, bean munching (methane farting - another gas responsible for climate change) hippies.

What are the other cars in the pack? Corvette, Trans Am, Monteverdi Hai 450, Maserati's, Lamborghini's. Al posted the cars in his pack, I think I had that one too.

Should have added, it's the 365 Boxer not the 512, I must have got confused because the 512 was the current model when I got the cards.

Thanks for that Marlin. Not sure you'd class some of them as supercars.
Group G's the winner, unless someone calls the CC, then you were better off with the American cars, they were all 7.4 litre engines.

Went Sunday, but don't remember seeing your little helper

I got carried away. Met a bloke I worked with a few years ago. He had only come from Rugby, but drove a relations F355 F1 for him. His relation also had a 360. First time I have sat in a 355 too. Now I really want one

The national FOC meet and concours is next Sunday (23rd Sept).

I'm definitely going in the 328 regardless of the weather (and as long as it passes it's MOT this Monday).

Who's going?
Marlin
Sandy
Al
T1f
Phil
Malc
Dave
Any of our European friends?
..any others, any lurkers want to introduce themselves?

Don't forget your best polishing cloth's and sponges, Boxer might need a hand cleaning his new beast

I'll definitely be there, Archie.
Doesn't look like I'll have a FerrariLife sticker for the motor though...shame.
