Ferrari 612 - Tyre issue!

Hey,

Pretty new to the whole forum thing but need some advice from you guys... I use my 612 as a daily run around and need a new set of a tyres. I've been told by all the Pirelli garages that the 245/40ZR19 (98Y) P Zero's are not available in the country for quite some time.

I don't want to mix tyre brands but could do with some help getting hold of a set - any advice as I don't want to have to take the car off the road

Cheers,

Dan

Dan- Welcome to Ferrari Life. You are in luck because the new Michelin Pilot Super Sports are far superior to the Pirellis that came with your car and both the 245/40 19s and 285/40 19s are available. The Michelins will corner better, brake better, and last longer, with a 220 wear rating.

Every day I look around, and if nobody is shooting at me, it is a pretty good day.

Welcome to FLife.

Agree with Terry a much better tire especially in the rain and under cold temps.

Dan, Suggest you call Mark Ware down at Carrs Ferrari in Exeter. He should be able to source a set for you. They have great contacts with both Pirelli and Michelin.
