1991 Testarossa clutch issue

Hello all, I have a 91 Testarossa. When I drive it longer than 15 min the clutch starts to get sticky. I can push the clutch in with no problem, shift, but when I put out the clutch it takes about 3-5 secs to engage. Im not hearing any noise it engages and drive normal. It's like it gummed up. I bleed the system, it was black. It has new fluid and is not leaking. When I first start off I do not have this issue until about 15 min. Could it be the master cylinder or clutch master cylinder? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Sean

Sean,

Not sure when you posted this as I have not been on the site in a while.

I have a 91. Since I got it 4 years ago the clutch has been occasionally stiff after the car gets warm (15 to 20 minutes). I finally decided to fix it last month by replacing the clutch release bearing hydraulic seals. They simply had hardened and were binding on the shaft the release bearing slides on it seems, though they were not leaking.

A relatively easy job to do. With a lift it took ne 7 hours start t finish (and I took my time). The parts (seals, there are three) were 150$ from GT car parts.
