Pilot Sport or Goodyear Eagle

Am i correct in thinking that US Testa Rossa fitted Goodyear Eagle and European cars fitted Michelin Pilot Sport https://www.borrani.com/en/michelin-...lot-sport.html

No, the earliest TRs, US and Euro, were fitted with Michelin TRXs, and then the Goodyears became available later with 16" wheels. By 88, all three types were available in Europe, TRX, Goodyear, and Michelins on 16" wheels. By 1990, no TRX tires, Michelins, Bridgestones and Goodyears.

85 US versions showed the same as Euro, but the 87 US TR shows only Micheling MXWs. US 88s, 89s, and 91s show TRXs again plus the Goodyears.

No telling what was actually fitted, but that is what the owners manuals show. On the US versions, it looks like Ferrari actually just printed the same manual from 88-90.

You can download all those manuals for free from ferraridatabase.com and look for yourself.
