part wanted for testarossa

Hi all,
I'm look for an auxilliary air valve for my 1989 testarossa but don't seem to be able to find a new one from the usual suppliers. Anyone got one or no where there is one? Any help greatly appreciated.

I always recommend Ricambi first, but if they do not have it or it is not priced, I try Maranello Classic Parts or Scuderia Systems in the UK.

Not exactly sure which part that is but if its the one on the exhaust its a GM part. I looked at my 1990 S10 pickup and it had the same part on it so I just went to NAPA and asked for one for my pickup. Most of the emissions and injection stuff for the 328 and TR are pretty generic.

I may be thinking the exhaust check valve?

Hi Kevin,Thanks for your reply. Nah, it is the auxilliary exhaust valve. Haven't found one yet. Apparently, you can get a reconditioned one but my guru mechanic tells me that they are inferior because the valve contains a bi-metallic strips which fatigues over time. The way they compensate for this when reconditioning is to change the air in the mix. I'll keep looking.

Hi Terry,
Thanks for your recommendation. I've tried Ricambi but no luck. I previously had no luck with Eurospares and superformance. I'll keep looking. It is not a problem for my Testarossa-I need one for my XJS where a previous owner had modified Jaguar's (inferior) setup. I'll keep looking.
