Looking for the best testarossa.

I am looking for an exceptional low mileage Ferrari Testarossa. Absolutely no more then 25k miles and prefferably under 5k miles. I will pay in full. Either message me or contact me via email. [email protected]. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Drew

I am in St Louis.

A friend Albert S - stated his father was looking for a TR.

Thought by chance you may be Albert's father.

Anyway - I am also on the hunt for a TR but in no rush. Missed my chance on one 6 moths ago - but did not pull the trigger.

Looking for the best testarossa.

Doug, seriously? Looking for a TR? If I didn't like mine sooooo much, I'd consider selling it to you.

If you get one, consider installing the Brembo F40 big brake kit and 18" wheels. I've made some other mods to modernize the look and improve performance.

I'll keep my eyes and ears open in case a good car becomes available. Old 12s rule.

Thank You.

I am going to be extremely picky - old Ferrari 12's are soon going to be very hard to find.

Prefer an off color interior and exterior.

Thanks for the big brake tip.

Doug- I would recommend a 512 TR, but prices are going up fast. Vastly improved over the TR and way, way faster. Over a second quicker in the quarter. R&T tested one at 12.8 seconds.

1990, also come with satin strech cover and 4 pieces black 512 luggage set. Has Borla exhaust on car but have the original one too.

Sorry no trades, if I'm selling it's to bring some cash home.

Thanks! I'm still not decided yet. I'd prefer to keep it. The few coming months should tell me if I can keep it or not. My pusher RV is also for sale and hope this one sells before so I can keep the TR.

I really like the yellow color, it stands out a lot at any Ferrari reunion.

Doug- The later 512s had the billet differential carrier, but earlier ones (and Boxers and TRs) can be upgraded for $4-5K.

Brian- Good info. I knew the big part from Ricambi was in the $3-3.5K range, but no idea of what else is required.

I did mine myself so no labour and when all done with new crown bolts(12 X $50) and seals that were in the job including the ones in the clutch slave cylinder I'm almost at $5K cdn in parts. With Newman diff which was the cheapest for me.

Oil and gear oil alone to refill one of those Liberian tankers is a couple of hundred.

Then there is about 100 O rings. It adds up.
