Testarossa blower transistor

I have a friend who owns a Testarossa.
Have a problem with the heating fan.
Apparently it's a typical problem Testarossa, which was burning a transistor that regulates the fan speed.
According've read, the original is replaced by the transistor 2N3055.
But what I still do not get to know is where is situated the transistor.
I think it is located in some places behind the dashboard.
Does anyone have a tutorial or pictures to change the transistor?

I have had a bit of a look for this myself but haven't found any photos. Try Rob or Steve as they have been in there and are likely to have some photos. I understand the transistor is on the RHS of the heater and may be accessible from the side panels but I have not been in there myself so could be wrong. Rob can be found www.ferrariaustralia.com - /Technical/
Try Steve here - The Testarossa heater thread! - FerrariChat.com
Good luck! S

Thanks but I have already removed the transistor.
This is a 2N5886, and as I suspected, is defective.
Was in the central part in one of the ventilation ducts of the dashboard behind.
