512TR crank and cam sensors

Hello,

Does anyone know if the crank and cam sensors are hall effect or variable reluctance? Im not having any luck on line and I need to know the schematic for those sensors identifying pin 1,2 and 3 for signal, ground and power.

Thanks!

Paul- Page C6 of the 512 TR WSM says the cam timing sensors are Hall effect. Page C7 says the crank sensor is the variable reluctance type.

You can download a 512 TR WSM for free from ferraridatabase.com.

Thanks, that was a thought that went through my head as well, a combo of both types.

The thought in my head is where do I get one of those cam sensor housings? That would look really good on a certain V12

Mark- Was looking at the parts, thinking not too bad, until I got to the phase sensors at $1500 each.

That's insane!

The housing is nice though so I might call around and see if I can find one.....then fit a more reasonable sensor to it.
