new tires

I put new BF GOODRICH G-force tires on my 87 TR. I also cleaned up the front shocks and springs and adjusted the Koni shocks. I made new shifter bushings out of Teflon. Took it out for a drive what a difference in shifting etc.

I've done teflon shifter bushings on other cars and you're right - what a huge difference! The shifter had become so sloppy on an old Porsche I really couldn't find the gears anymore, and when I did, it was a crap shoot whether it was the right one or not.

High mileage, low compression, and missing on a few cylinders.....just like my cars.
