removing TR tires

I needed to touch up the paint on the wheels on my TR, I didn't want to take the wheels to a tire shop and bring them home, then back out. So I took a utility knife and just cut them off at the side wall. It was easy to remove then.

Ago- That works, but it severely compromises the tires' ability to hold air.

Taz,
I forgot to mention that I was in the process of getting brand new tires mounted.

Taz, I don't know what you're tlaking about. Couple cans of Fix-a-Flat and they'll be good as new....

Interesting method Ago, was cutting through the bead a challenge?

Of all the narcissists I know, I love me the most.

removing tires

David,
Actually cutting threw the sidewall was easy, then the bead ring just came off because the tire didn't add any stiffness.
