Seth,

I just re-read your post. Since the car was purchased from Canepa, I didn't meet Galdi until over a year later when he came to Quail. A few months ago, two of my friends picked up an original in the box windscreen for the car from his garage and they were blown away by the train set and setup. There were also many many boxes of trains that hadn't even been opened because he ran out of time 😀. I haven't seen it myself but the guys couldn't stop talking about it for a while.

Yes, I was a model train nut when I was in college, bought some HO models but never had a layout so never ran any. Joe's layout is beyond sensational, It's simply - a model railroad, the Denver & Rio Grande Western of fitty years ago.
