288 F40 F50 Enzo

Every car benefits from regular use. But I think, that the F50 does need it the less in the Supercar Row... The Enzo need it most because of some Engine Stuff that can lock up (some unused cars needed engine change after two years when started to use). The GTO has Clutch Issues after long time sitting and the Turbos go dry. F40 also needs some oil in the Turbos after some Time.

We start the Enzo at least once in the Winter to turn the engine and oil everything up. The other cars we turn the engines as long that they get oil pressure but without starting. Every two weeks or more regular we push the cars a bit to keep tires round and push from time to time the pedals.

Hi,

it differs from 1700kms per Year/Car up to 2350kms per Year/Car on the Supercars.

This and last year the F40 was a bit less than normal, the Enzo this year a bit more, drove the GTO a lot and the F50 the least. My father drove the F50 the most, my mother the Enzo the most and my sister loves to drive the BB and F50. And we all drove very much with the Dino this year, it just matches so good with our two Classic Minis on small Tours!

BB was a bit less this year, because I removed the engine and done a major service with belts, waterpump, etc, etc...

How nice that the cars are enjoyed by all the family and that each person has their own favorites.

Onno,
yes, it is very nice to make Tours with some cars and the whole family. But my "problem" is, that i always have to drive with that car, that nobody drives at the moment, because i just canīt decide wich is my favourite

Rolf:
thanks! We still have to meet!

Thanks for the nice words! Will share them with my family!

Jimmy: when You buy an F40 from Europe, than visit us! Sad You havenīt took the plane to Germany when You bought the GTO...

Rolf: You are right! The F50 looks very appeling! Maybe its chocolate side. But in my opinion the GTO is the best looking in this row!

Terry: At that day for me it was the opposite! I drove the F40 and looked at all the other cars.

Pablo: Buy an GTO and lets do a 8-Supercars-Run! You definitely need a GTO! DEFINITELI! And a BB, than the Collection is very similar.

David: For us it was very unusual too! It is so much to do to have all cars running and have them registered and all Family togehter. Took very long to do this, but that Year we managed to do it twice. No of us will ever forget!

m1076, I would make my promise to visit you in Germany, even if I do not acquire F40 !

Years ago, I flew via Germany, making a transit stop at Frankfurt Airport only. I would have to make a genuine visit next time.

Thanx for the offer, m1076.

Enjoy the beautiful autumn season.

Jimmy
