Amelia auction F50 hammer 1.25 M

That new price level seems to get a base....unbelievable. It will be interesting to see the 330 GTC's and Dino's follow up. All nuts I would guess.

212- 1989 again. Stocks are running high again, so there are alternatives to Ferraris and art.

Not surprised whatsoever.

A friend has a 330 GTC listed at 750k and the F50 is beautiful - why shouldn't these cars demand these prices if there are more buyers than sellers ... simple math.

Agree however the US F50 market is particulary a much smaller than the "rest of world" one (56 against 293 if correct), hence higher prices. However the speed of the price rise surprises me.

Same with the 330/365 GTC's. 365 GTC is very rare of course but the sudden explosion makes thinking and maybe doubting.

F50s are rarer than Enzos so a premium does actually make some sense.

Haha

The F50 is IMO the coolest piece to leave the factory - offers a removable top and a race engine ... it can't get any better!

I'm with you Doug, I think the F50 is the best car they've ever made.

Could not agree more. Why they did not keep the Berlinetta/Barchetta option on the Enzo and LaFa I don't know.

Boxer, Doug- Would much rather have an F50 than an Enzo.
