Sounds like, you have made a pretty good deal, congrats on her! Those miles are going to be dropped up soon, right?

The garage on the pictures is not mine!
Just the car!

The front tires are 2004 and the rear 2005 but in good condition. Do i need to change them because of age?

Pablo- Affirmative, they need to be changed. Six to seven years is about the max you want to keep tires, especially on a supercar.

Pablo- That is the same thing I tell my mother for her Buick, so yes, I am sure.

You probably should ask 212 or Boxer about the type of tires to buy. OEM were Bridgestones and Goodyears, but not sure they are still available in the 245/35 18 and 335/30 18 sizes. Pirelli P Zero Corsas are available, and those are DOT legal competition tires. So are the old Pirelli P Zero Rossas.

Pablo....BIG congratulation to that aquisition. A wonderful decision ! Congrats, congrats !

You know, there are 3 "F50" owners by now within our community, which means we control about 1% of the F50 market....(are we cornering it??)

To your tyre question: I choose to put the latest available Michelin's on it and I'm very, very happy with 'em and yes, I would like to reassure Terry's advice to definitively put new tyres on that precious car. Don't risk anything because of that.

But now my questions:

Where do you bought that car ?
Is it a Swiss ownership car ?
Have you got EVERYTHING with it ?
How come was your experience to find the right one ?

You know, a F50 is such a rare thing out there (even compared to a F40) you definitively HAVE to share your experience !

Congrats again and drive carefully !

Oh in addition:

Do you got the Montezemolo letter to the car ? The book to the car ? The photographs to the car ? The lugagge to the car ? the yellow cover for the lugagge ? Has the tanks been changed ?

Your exhaust system seems not original, is the original one with the car ?

Sorry to ask but I'm an enthusiast....as you would guess.

Thanx every body for the warm congrats on the car!!!!!!!
I did not know we controlled 1% of the F50īs!!!!!
But it sounds like progress on the forum!
Boxer : i have not yet had the opportunity of driving it since i bought it over the phone but inspected by a guy expert and that i trust. I hope to have the opportunity soon.
But the experience of driving the F40 is unique!!! As you describe it better in your articles , it is a rush of excitement and adrenaline! I for one , have not had the courage of accelerating it to the fullest on all of its gears! For me is too much power!

I bought the car from a guy in germany how has a big collection of not only Ferraris.
And for now i am not planning to have it Swiss plated since i am thinking for tax issues to plate it in the UK. For now it will have temporarily german plates for export for one year!

The exhaust is Tubistyle but it also comes with the stock one.

Unfortunately no Montezemolo letter

3 suitcases come with it but no yellow cover for them!

The tanks have not been changed but i will do it.

What should i do to fix this?
