Andrew, that video was posted not too long ago. Forgive the pun, but it didn't get much traction then either...

You are dead right. I should not have shared the Prancing Horses strutting their stuff. They should be stationary at all times... especially in posts!?

is it just me, or does that enzo look retarded doing donuts? It almost looks like it really doesn't want to do it.

Especially knowing Nick Mason had to buy a new clutch after his first 300 miles with the Enzo.

But who does doughnuts anyway?

All the gear but no idea... well the video was only a proof of concept - will use a better set up at some point.

NASCAR drivers

I have to admit that I've "drifted" the 308 around corners for no reason other than fun and a couple times after an autocross error I've "adjusted" the car's direction is a way that could be confused with a doughnut

turn off the traction control, turn the steering wheel, slam the throttle to the floor and you should be doing a doughnut.....and hopefully you're also in an open area with nothing to hit.

That's almost spot on - with the F430 I would very slowly drive in a tight circle, then slam the throttle on!

oh at least your daily driver before your ferrari. If the DD is FWD, doughnut will only work in reverse, but parking brake spins still work just fine

When I did the above - we sprayed some water down first. Makes the rear brake away a little easier, the donut a little slower and stops the tyres smoking a hell of a lot

Make sure the car is warmed up first - try not to bounce off the limiter.

The SA Aperta was in the dry and from standstill, with v. little space... check it out

And also i want to know if the only difference between the video at the top of the page has no smoke versus the one down the page is because of the water???
