Franck, thanx ! Sometimes, open top natural breeze is more soothing (?) as long as the car is moving and despite the sizzling rays...

What you mentioned brought back fond memories of similar to worse scenarios in my late 365BB and Dino et al.

SA with manual ...

Just a sidenote for those interested,...found a 575 Superamerica with very low mileage and probably very rare manual gearbox. Color is read with tan inside.

This SA does not seem to have many options or carbons and is not a HGTC (?) package. Nevertheless, the shop is asking 65million JP yen, (!!!)....only. Have no idea where that price came from. Just for your information.

Thomas, is that so ?! But then, I have been there only few times, mainly for skiing. It is the biggest island therefore even though it is cold everywhere and snows abundantly, there is a big difference in the severity depending on which part of Hokkaido you are at. I am sure you are familiar with it.

Come to think of it, the other similarity may be the beautiful females there and in your country. My very close US friend once told me that the most beautiful Japanese female he saw was in Hokkaido too.

Hi Jimmy,
how are you?
As you know i like red on F and for me red SA is nice, but i not would to pay crazy price for manual gearbox ....
For me is a premium the HGTC in front of the colour ....

I like manual gearbox but i think today there are more people that are crazy for this kind of gear ....
Personally i prefer a F1 for those kind of cars ...
I remember the youtube video where one owner with his 599 in Monte Carlo he never capable to insert the 2nd gear ...
Do you like to buy a car like that? ....
I like a manual gearbox, but one gearbox that i could use as i want ....

p.s.: one my friend next week will come in Japan for one holiday week ...

Fabio, I agree with you wholeheartedly.

Just do not understand the recent crazy fad for manual gearboxes, especially not for these monster cars with crazy horsepower. Funny how the crowd changes taste and willing to fork out crazy money too.

Sorry but was not sure whether your friend is coming to Italy or your friend is coming to Japan ? If Japan, feel free to contact me if I can be of any help.

Fabio, your friends would have a grand time here, except that it is sizzling hot now, beware.

That is a long list of places to cover in such a short time too ! I am sure they are in good hands. Wish them a memorable trip.

Another forgotten one ?

It has been a while posting so I do not recall posting this car which was acquired last year from Texas. A 1966 Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 SS (Sprint Speciale).

Oh, by the way, may I add that I am seriously thinking of acquiring another car from the same Italian elder gentleman who sold me his Giannini 590GT ? This car is a 1969 Lancia Fulvia Rallye 1.3S ...
