458 cams & cam variator specs?

This is probably a long shot but would anybody know more about the camshaft timing and function of the camshaft variator in the 458 engine? It's the same type of variator in California, 599 GTO, FF and F12 as well as Maserati wet sump 4.2 and 4.7 V8. The earlier type used in F430, Enzo, 599 GTB are switched on/off at specific rpm to change displacement angle for better low to mid rpm power. I have only found the non adjusted timing on Maserati Quattroporte dry sump intake cam displacement angle is 115.5 and adjusted is 103 I will use non adjustable exhaust camshafts. I have looked in the 458 manual but found very little. I dont have workshop access to the factory database.
Also what's different with 458 Speciale cams vs 458. The story is there's more valve lift...

I found out I can use M145 heads (Maserati 4.7) on the F136 block if I close 3 drain holes in each head + more welding on the covers. 458 cams fit M145 heads

Thomas- Get the local Ferrari dealer to print out the specs from MODIS for you. I have not seen a 458 WSM available to the public.

Every day I look around, and if nobody is shooting at me, it is a pretty good day.

I found a pdf version on www.ferraridatabase.com but some info is only available to people with access.

Local dealer wont do anything. I can ask somebody who is an ex-shop manager.

Thomas- That is new, so thanks for pointing it out. I send stuff to Ben Deetman occasionally for inclusion, but had not seen the 458 WSM. Kind of short on tech data, like you said, and the organization is changed from earlier WSMs. Electrical was always section L before, now it is F. Looks like someone printed it from MODIS and then scanned it. Some good info.

The interesting parts are "Being prepared" but it's the same in the F430 manual. Best info so far came from the Maserati 4200 manual. Rgds///Thomas

Do the Maserati heads flow better than the Ferrari heads?

No, they flow the same before I get them done. I have a pair of MY2013 M145 heads and I want non-adjustable exhaust cams. No direct injection either. Rgds///Thomas
