308 water pump pulley

Will a 355 water pump pulley fit onto a 308 qv water pump?

Jack found me the smoking deal on the 355 crank pulley (he really is the man!) I'm using a Saab 9000 alternator pulley. Going with a Paxton Novi SL supercharge using air to water inter coolers. On top of the new EFI build I think 425hp is no problem.

Shaft size is the same. Don't know if there are any depth issues.

Mark, I still have the intake you made me. Jack has been helping tune the Electromotive. The crappy little v belt can't spin my 115amp alt. I'm going with the Paxton novi sl because of the fact it needs no oil feed or drain lines. I'm thinking 1/4 aluminum plate bolted to the 3 rear cam cover bolts. Maybe a Ford spring loaded belt Tensioner. Guys feel free to chime in with ideas. This is why I have been gone the last few months.

That's not a paxton, that's a baby! You can't hook that up to a car!

Very cute. Congrats!

The poly belts are just awful!.......I'm looking forward to NOT having them on my car anymore too.

i do know that the water pump housing and pump from a 360 will bolt to the 308 block. the mounting holes and passage way has not changed from the 308 to 360. the impeller is indeed very different between them though so that complicates things as the gap is critical to proper function. as to the shaft size, don't know without measuring them all.

I looked at this quite extensively when I rebuilt my motor . I could not get the 360 pump to fit without a mk e force fit

The 360 pulley goes straight on the 308 pump . I couldn't find mine so sorry no pic . The 360 crank pulley goes straight on , might need a spacer to get it all lined up ??

Here are some pic's , sorry about the dust !!! Shows when last I paid this any attention

Wow!

Bill your going whole hog there, thats going to be billy bad ass! Your new baby is a doll! To make the pulley work you will have to make a shim between the crank pulley and where it mates to the crank, in my application it was about .25 inch thick but yours will depend on the belt alinement with the water pump and alternator (and AC if you use it).

I've been dealing with a family member who is ill in the worst way, sorry for my lack of participation and business has picked up for my laser engraving, thats my excuse.

A bunch of stuff.
