A quick wheel makeover

Long story short, my wheels were in terrible shape. When I got the car I new I'd have to do a little work on them. My car is no show car by any means so I don't care if it's original , I just want it to all match and be presentable. I now have a set of 14 x 7.5's that match. When I got the car it had 6.5;s up front. Some light sanding, priming, painting, and replacement of center caps and I'm happy with the result. I went with a darker charcoal color to still mask any slight imperfections that were so obvious with the light silver. Ignore the tires too, proper ones are coming later when I am furthur along with it. Anyway here are some pictures:

It's amazing the difference new centre caps make. Mine were exactly like yours too.

Nice work on the wheels

Just an update, I got some red caps to match the car and a replacement Campagnolo decal that is close to the original.

Ignore the 3 bolts, just a test fitting....

not an insult but I prefer the original Cavallino to that one. Guess I'm just too old school

Oh no, it's fine. Think of them as protective covers that I can peel off anytime. I don't know I thought they look alright against the red car.
