warm up regulator

I have installed the ELECTROMOTIVE system on my 1984/308 (running grate)
best thing I ever did (like brand new) very, very happy!

QUESTION GUYS ?

can I remove the WUR & plugged the fuel distributor where it was connected
to ,don't need it here in florida, anyone did this before (bypass the WUR)
will this hinder the fuel system from working correctly (just cleaning things up)

I removed the Injector from the intake that gives a fuel spray (no problem)

thanks in advance

Did you do an efi conversion or just an ignition upgrade?

I assumed efi and with efi the WUR is useless......but it sounds like ignition only????

ignition only with ELECTROMOTIVE XDI SYSTEM
no more distributor & rotors, like brand new,100 MPH in a flash, very strong
50k volts from the coils with 8.5 MAGNECOR WIRES

read all about it in ferrari chat & elsewhere !

If it's ignition only then personally I would leave the fuel system alone but since you've already remover the warm-up injector I can't see how removing the WUR would matter. I can't say for sure though because I just haven't mess with them much......I removed the CIS from my car about 6 weeks after I got the car and that.

Before I go into a ton of details.

1. I need to know the specific vehicle you are talking about.

2. Are you using the XDi Gen 1 or XDi 2 programmable unit?
For isolated architecture applications the XDi 2 is a nice programmable solution.

No you can't. The fuel dis. relies on that reg. to properly operate.
