That is a very well done indeed but I'd still opt for Birdman's unit because you are getting everything new.

Just my way of thinking.

I must applaud Birdman fuse blocks. I just had them installed in my 308 QV and it made a night and day difference. The windows go a little faster, the horns are 10 times louder, the headlights are brighter. My old blocks had melted terminals and of course my fuel pump fuse was sporadic, causing a starting issue. All of the problems went away with Birdman stuff. THANKS JON!!

Nothing against the birdman, but I went with these. Seen them on Newmans restoration thread and contacted him. Really like them......

Quote from Newmans thread:
I updated my fuse blocks in both the 308 and boxer to this new design a friend of mine made in Alberta Canada. These upgraded blocks are way better than need be, they take blade style fuses and the fuse block covers fit so they look stock. Some replacement blocks take glass fuses which is better than stock but the factory covers dont fit them, I didnt want that.

That is nice. I would add a TAPPLASTIC custom plexi cover though.

what's the ballpark cost on that and contact info?

I just moved and haven't found my digital camera yet, but I will very soon. So saying that, I will get some pics up. They are top notch parts!!

I have also emailed the person I got them from to see if he has more and if $ has changed. If it is ok with him too, I will post his info, I just don't want to post it with out his consent........not that I don't trust anyone here but I just like to be courteous.
