Thanks, Boxer. I've always been very fond of my GTB. My enthusiasm hasn't diminished and some of my early posts on this board hold true today.

I've thought about selling my GTB a few times over the years. A half-hour drive in the car always brings me back to my senses.

Here's my 308, purchased in 2000, and in the garage with a blown head gasket since 2002. Career change and family have forced it to stay in mothballs since then, but I am now starting to rebuild the engine and hope to have it back on the road by spring.

Welcome to FLife and good luck with the rebuild.

Thanks for the warm welcome and encouragement! I'll post some pictures of the engine rebuild in a different thread.

I did make a mistake in the original post, the color is Blu Chiaro. Not sure where Sera came from.

Love the blue filter shot. I too was looking at a blue sera 85 QV when I finally got serious about buying one back in 03. I ultimately didn't because the car had a salvage title. That is a beautiful color on a 308.

Thankfully you have a fairly good source for parts still and can get a head to rebuild.

Current: 85' GTS QV
It's a simple process...... it's just complicated by human beings....

It's not really a blue filter, it's just a bad scan from a print. The photos were taken in 2000 before I owned a digital camera. I should see if I could fix the color shift.

Welcome (back) to FL, Alvis. Pretty, pretty and looks well pampered 308 there. IMO, you are savvy enough to take a shot like that with duo white wine there. Do introduce yourself in the New Members Introduction thread so that we can all get to know you better. w/ smiles Jimmy

Welcome back and posting is perfect.

I think I have seen your car around and about. The wheels look familiar.
