When you see the 70 and 00 Ferraris side by side, it really is shocking how much larger the modern cars have gotten. A 430 really dwarfs a 512BB.

Here's my baby

Well, here's mine.

Model: 308 GTS
Year: 1982
Country: USA
Steering: LHD
Chassis number: Ooop, don't have that info at this time.
Ferrari colour: Red
Interior colour: Tan

Hi gang,

I bought my Ferrari back in 9/94 with 32,800 miles on her and no paper work.
I'll always remember when the dealer gave me the keys.

"Just do a complete stop to put her into 1st. That's how these Ferrari's are with sycros." LOL!

I was never a purist so i did a "few" alterations on her.

First picture is when i first brought her home. Those where the good old days before digital cameras.
Dad was a little ticked off at me for driving on his nice lawn.

Second picture is a before shot. OEM that is.
Third picture is the after shot. Non original. I can hear it now. lol

Fourth picture is where she is now. Damn those syncros!!

Chris,

Car looks good minus the person where the engine should be!!!

I like the roof mod you did. Where did you get that? Front bumper with the lip also looks nice. Nice brake upgrades too

What??!! You don't like my "Down Under" look??

But seriously, thanks Andrew. The roof mod was no big deal. I just gave it to a auto body friend of mine and he prep it and then painted it.

Thank you.

She handles great. The Goodyear tires, new shocks and new bushings did a great improvement.

Here's me!

'76 GTB Rosso Chiaro steel converted to Euro specs (bumpers, all emission equip removed). I am the 2nd owner. Engine just completed full rebuild and upgrade to 10.5:1 pistons and major Euro camshaft timing changes. Yes, it screams! Undoubtedly faster than a 348. 16" repro wheels with Potenza's recently installed but not shown in picture

It is amazing just how much fresh bushings can improve the handling.

Bobs308

Model: 308 GTS
Year: 1978
Country: USA
Steering: LHD
Chassis number: 24903
Engine number:00399
Trans number:3043/F106AL
Ferrari colour: Nero
Interior colour: Nero

This Ferrari had Borrani wire wheels on it when purchased in 1985 from a dealer in Phoenix (sold new in Chicago). They are 14" wheels and still have the Borrani stickers on them. The wheels are stamped "Ruote Borrani Milano," "14 X 6 1/2 - RW 4327 Record," and have a small round sticker on the hub with Borroni printed on it. There is a hub bolted to the rotors to mount the wheels. FNA has no knowledge of a 308 being shipped from the factory with wire wheels.

I use Bobs308 because my friend, Bob Miles, bought this 308 in 1985. We were high school friends; we played with cars for 40 years and I bought his Ferrari from him just before he died of cancer in 2004. In my mind it will always be Bob's Ferrari.
