I chose yellow, only because there are too many red. But both IMO are very good.

Maserati GranTurismo MC - Giallo yellow
Porsche 911 GT3 RS - black with orange accents - wife's car
F355 Berlinetta - Giallo Modena, 6-speed manual, carbon sport seats -recently traded in
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S

I am a fan of the blue. I first saw one while valet parking in '98, it was a 355 F1 spider with tan top and interior. I was absolutely floored by the beautiful lines this car had, and stood there, jaw dropped, in absolute fascination. I bought a Dupont Registry the next day at 7-11, just to get a glimpse of the car again. I dove into buying models of the car, and repainted a red one blue, dreaming one day to own a 355 Berlinetta in blue. I read Forza magazine, and collected anything Ferrari. I attended a 355 challenge event at Lime Rock, went through 4 rolls of film... and have almost crashed rubber-necking when I see one in traffic, like a beautiful brunette walking down the sidewalk. So....my status: saving money to buy one, learning more about the maintenance costs and which ones to buy or not buy, which is why I joined this forum today. I figure I will buy one in 2 years, knowing a lot about the car by then. I really want a blue GTS, but they are RARE. I will one day be posting a pic of a blue one, or I would also take yellow, green, white, black grey and finally red, in that order. The red is a hot color, but is almost cliche for my tastes. The yellow shows the lines the best by far, given the scoops and their respective shadows contrasting with the brilliant yellow.

Great taste... if I recall correctly, Ferrari then-president Luca Di Montezemolo lent his blue/tan 355 spyder to Road and Track for their road test in their 50th anniversary issue. It was his daily driver during that era, he called it "my go-kart".

Also completely agree with you on the yellow showing lines the best. IMO yellow has allowed the car to show its age the least.

Haha, I remember reading the "go cart" article years ago. If I recall, the issue had a yellow coupe on the cover?! I have to go find my old issues of Forza too, come to think of it.
As far as colors showing the lines well, the blue actually obscures the body a bit, but I still love it. The tour de France blue is by far my first choice for F-cars. I'm like this: When I see one.

At the Limerock event, there were some incredible challenge-versions with incredible paint jobs... Going to scan some of those pictures and upload soon.

I havent voted, but I am thinking yellow. The more I am around Ferraris and see SUCH a huge sea of RED it seems almost overdone. The yellow just pops though. I say this as the owner of a Metallic Black 308 though.

Took me 13 months from the day I joined this forum, but I always was a fan of the blue, so here is an update: Here is my new F 355 in Swaters blue. Went for the Spider, simply because of a lack of Berlinettas in blue....wanted to repaint one blue, but it was way too expensive at 15k. I am now fully in love with my choice.

no, Ready, it's an extremely rare color, I believe reserved to Peter Kalikow's cars, blu scuro micalizzato. Peter was her first owner. Where were you when I was offering her for sale? The paint is darker than TdF, the paint on my avatar 575M.

GREAT color. All of the blues are nice. Here is a Blue Chiaro F 355 B for your viewing pleasure, I forget what color the lighter one is, and the other pic (car inside dealership), well, cant place this color. Any idea what these other two colors are?

I think yours might have been a bit beyond my price range, if it is the same one I remember. For sale about 4-5 months ago? I did see one on the forum once...perhaps yours. UNICORN. wow.

As of last month, I found 4 Blue berlinettas for sale. One in NJ (missed that one, blu chiaro), one in the midwest (F1, odd leather combo) two in Austrailia ($$$$$$$$ wow pricey) and one in Great Britian, RHD I believe.

Ready, the bottom car looks like blu chiaro, matched my 412. Top one probably blu celeste. middle, maybe Sebring.

your Aussie 355 may have quoted in Aussie dollars, weaker than the US dollar.

In California there's a Le Mans blue with burgundy interior for sale. It's allegedly the only 355 with that color scheme.

Eric, this car looks phenomenal!
Would love to somehow have a rally of blue 355's on a drive.
All other colors welcome of course...
