308 GTB rear brake caliper

Hi all,

i have a seized rear brake caliper on my 308 GTB, could anyone point in the right direction to get a replacement, new or used would be fine.

On my 308GT4, I believe the brakes were identical to a Porsche 914-6. Might be worth your while to check that out. Maybe save you a bundle. -Steve

Yes, same as Porsche and all Ferrari did was reverse the e-brake lever the cable attaches to.

My suggestion would be to contact Ricambi and get the caliper rebuild kit. Any competent brake shop should be able to overhaul the caliper for you. It would be a heck of a lot cheaper than buying new calipers (which I think are over $1,000 if you can find them).

Let us know how you make out if you look at the Porsche caliper, I agree it would be cheaper than a Ferrari one.
