Amazed at how handbuilt 308's are.

First 308 I've been involved with - the newest Fcar I've done to now has been a Daytona.
As the title, I'm amazed at how handbuilt they still were at this time (1978 ish). Huge amounts of lead, appalling gaps, runs in the paint etc!!!!!!!!!!!!

When it leaves you Al, I'm sure it will be in better shape than when it left the factory.
Pleased you got some work on your books, best wishes

You seem surprised. I could tell you horror stories concerning what would roll out of the factory.

1987....guy takes delivery of his new F40....with the side markers missing.
