Pwer window motor for a 1985 308

Does anybody know if I can use the power window motors from a 348 or newer models on a 308? For those who own a 308 you know the windows are very slow and mine are starting not to work. Since I need to replace them soon, I was thinking about buying faster motors.

The window on the F355 I had were no fast than the ones on the 308. Suggest you try to replace them with other alternatives. I believe Pete04222 did this successfully.

Problem with slow windows is not the motor or grease, it’s just not getting enough juice…

Here are two link and both proven to work, I have seen the home video of before and after from another Ferrari owner who was installing it…

Thank You for your info. I will definitely order the window accelerators. Looks like they are easy to install.

Lambarri,

I agree with Magnum, this is the product to get and Ricambi America is a great supplier. I bought two things from them and shipping was quick.

Slow power windows.

I have a 78 308 GTB and it too has slow windows. I recently updated with new motors from Evan's Motors. He claims the new motors are about 20% more powerful and windows work better than before but not like an updated car. I used to have to pull the windows up manually but now it goes up by itself. Its an archaic design with the motors and all of the pulley and cables.

I also brought the motors from Evans about two years ago, no problems. One thing pull the switches and clean them it will help a little.

Garage
Beware, I bought window motor booster from Frazer before checking if my car was eligible, it was not (depending how the + is). Personaly, I changed motor, cable (lot of grease), switch window (which can be corroded), and fusebox because the power goes from the fusebox to the driver door and then to the passenger' door, there's no much less at the end... Hope your car will be compatible... then it's work fine, not very fast but fine, this is a Ferrari...
