Just removed the front boot main upper carpeted section.
Have to say it's all pretty poor design and construction for such an expensive car.
That fibre board is cheap and nasty...cracks and splits so easy, the carpet is poor, fitment is poor and unprecise with those 3 metal bars securing things down ...i'm sure the later mid engined cars had better quality....anyone know if the 360, 430 and 458 series had a better method of luggage compartment out fitting?
The best part is the rubber seal for the front bonnet...that's a substantial and well fitting piece although for some Italian reason mine is about 1 inch too short such that the 2 ends do not meet
Well, it's certainly not the best part of the car but can be adjusted to fit just fine and all I keep in there is a tool kit anyway (one I put together to contain every tool except the one I will need when the car breaks down)
