Hand / Parking / Emergency Brake Adjustment

Doing new brakes on my latest 355 including all new rotors, pads and parking brake pads.

I thought I'd post a quick video on how to setup and adjust the hand brake.

PS, the rusted axle nut is a result of the inner wheel cap being gone. I've ordered a new set and I'll also be replacing the axle nuts - I could never stomach leaving it that way.

Check your wheels guys for the inner protection. If it's gone, replace it. But, the parts are NLA but some dealers have them.

Howard, yes, that is it. I suspect when folks go for new tires the shop takes them off and never puts them back on. You know, why would people do the job right?

It's sickening how shoddy people do work on these jewels of a car.
Ferrari UK forgot the top securing nut on one of my radiators and lost and didn't replace both securing P clips holding the fuel overfill hose to the fan when they replaced the radiator a few years ago.

I could have killed them had I known.
Never went back there.
And charged me a fortune for the crap work.

Another bugbear is replacing correctly the screws, nuts and washers securing the inner wheel arches and the 3 underbody panels and rear diffusers to the chassis...jeez why can't they put back what they took off...why tell me?

I like to do stuff myself now...when I can't I check every detail.
