Front License Plate attachment on a 328

Hi Everyone,
In Massachusetts, we are required to have a front plate attached in our cars.

This is ridiculous if you as me but, the law is the law. It's like owning a Picasso and the Mass registry wants me to put their plate in the middle of the picture!

1) Is there any way around this? Anyone from Mass come up with a way?
2) Does anyone else from any other state have this problem as well and if so, what do you do?

I would hate to have to cover up that beautiful prancing horse in the front grill!

Thanks,
Marc

Thanks Bob but our plates are alot taller than the euro plates so if I attached it like that, It would scrape on the ground.

Can't you get a clearance to put a smaller plate on it? You can tell them you can not cover the grill because the engine will run hot or something

Here is a good example on a U.S. sized plate on the front of a 328.

Same law here in IL. I just always keep the front plate in the glove box or storage compartment. Then if you get pulled over, which you probably never will, but just to be safe you'll have it with you. Then just tell the cop that your on your way to the hardware store to buy some bolts for it and youll put it on when you get home. But ive never been pulled over for just the plate thing. If you get caught speeding then they'll check for the plate and little stuff like that.

That was going to be my second suggestion. Risky but the worst will be a minor ticket.
