355 Euro

Hello to all,
I am new to this forum.
I have always loved Ferrari and am now ready and able to finally join the ranks of ownership.
I'm looking at a 1999 355F1 here in California - the owner indicates the car was originally a Euro model and brought to the states in 2000. All the smog has been taken care of and it has been registered here no problem.
If anyone can help educate me on what challenges, if any, a Euro car can present. Any other advice, other than the obvious checking the history etc. will be a great help.
I'm excited and anxious.

Dominic, First thing I would do is contact Dick Merritt at the DOT and check that the car has been properly imported and converted to US spec. To do this you will need to give him the VIN/Chassis number. His phone number is:

you will need to leave a message with the car details on the machine and he will then call back in a day or two.
