Note, I did not install these. I believe these are factory. (Front axle)

Like I said, I would agree that detents like thatr would need to be opened up but what I have seen on my 308 and 355 are more like this. This is the rear of my 355, the way I got it. 308 about the same from factory. No problem hitting this with an impact wrench directly.

If you are going to tell someone how to remove a bolt you should at least know which way to turn the wrench.

John,

I don't think that is factory. Or, it looks like the nut has been reused as the paint mark on the nut does not match the axle. And, that is so minimal, it kinda defeats the purpose. And, time for some new Rotors, John

I bought the full rotor and pad kit for $450.00 to my door - can't beat that. The hand brake pads where extra though.

Quite possible but the detent is about the same as I found on my 308, which was definitely factory. Also, there is no paint mark on the nut. What I think you are seeing is just reflection/discoloration. I'll have to take a look at the fronts.

If you are going to tell someone how to remove a bolt you should at least know which way to turn the wrench.

Well, needless to say, the mark will not be consistent as it's done by hand.... Weather or not the indent needs to be deformed 100% of the time is moot, the proper (safe) thing to do is deform it

Fronts are same as yours.

My powder coat biker dude did a trial of the airboxes. A little more glossy than we wanted but I need to compare to my 98 when I get home.

First paint shop for bumpers and wheels promised me 2-3 weeks and I gave him nearly 6. Guy screwed me and did nothing so I pulled parts and started all over with new guy. I just gave him parts Monday and today he already has wheel stripping in process. Hope to ship these for Dow 7 on Monday.

Yep, too glossy. Biker dude is super cool. We are going to strip this and he is looking into a perfect match powder.

Front grill(s) (one for each car) stripped of anodize. These will now be polished (to remove any dings or dents, etc) and then re-anodize.

Carpet is perfect and I've not even shampooed it yet. Leatherique of all leather coming along with refinishing all sticky parts. I've already done some of the parts but will do them all. This car is going to be amazing in about 6 weeks

No, they are fine. Remember, RHD cars have that crazy linkage for the gas pedal and it's not down in the valley like correct hand drive

Working on refinishing all interior sticky parts. They were done prior by another. Media blasted the steering column surround - the prior refinish had poor adhesion and came off with next to no effort - you can see the area blasted in this photo.
