328 body question

Has anyone ever hear of any year 328 with no rear top spoiler/wing ? I have been looking at a few and some dont have any.

Here are some pics...

Technically, the rear spoiler was an option from the factory, although the vast majority came with them.

Just the facts...

Could it be purchased now and be installed ? Or would it mean drill holes in the car ?

Yes it can and yes you need to drill holes.

Expect to pay about $800 to $1000 for a used one and expect to go mildly insane trying to get the backing nut in place.

Thankfully, my car came with the spoiler from the factory.

No worries. Also, don't worry about drilling the holes. I have seen a couple of guys do it and it's not anything that would negatively affect the value of the car if done properly. And, depending on the colour of the car, I would consider getting the spoiler painted to match the body colour. I have seen it and it's neat on red and blue cars.

Just the facts...
