1987 328 Inspection

I missed out on a white 87 and now have my eyes on a black 87 GTS. My question is what have folks done when the car is located no where near a Ferrari dealer to have a PPI completed and you are unsure if there are any exotic dealers nearby where the car can be taken to have an inspection completed? The car in question is between Louisville KY and Nashville TN (approx. 100+ miles from each city) Is anyone familiar or trust anyone who could give an honest evaluation of the car somewhere in and around that area? Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome to the site. I am originally from the Louisville area and there are a few mechanics in that area I can recommend.

1. Harrods Creek Imports (502) 228-2726
http://www.harrodscreekimports.com/

2. Stein Automotive (502) 452-9721
http://www.steinauto.com/

There are no Ferrari Specialist but these two are the best. Since Nashville is a bit larger it might have more but I would give the above two a call, both are in Louisville. Both are easy to get to. Stein Automotive is closer to 65 (1/2 mile off of I-264 or about 2 miles total from I-65). Harrods Creek is also very close to the Interstate (1/4 mile from I-265 but much further from I-65)

Good luck in your search and let us know how it turns out.

Also,
Check out the buyer's guide for the 328 here on FerrariForum. 8)

IMHO the 328 is one of Ferrari's best model ever!
