Garage and Lifts: let's see yours :)

Last spring I installed a Mohawk A7 asymmetrical 2 post lift.

I would have been able to get the 355's up full height (6') but it would have been very close with my original 10'3" ceiling. And, the garage door would need to be down also.

That said, this fall I decided to vault my ceiling, re track the door to follow the roof line and replace all garage lights with T5 fixtures which resulted in the need for 2 more circuits in the garage.

I hired my contractor buddies to do the work and I helped with about 90% of the work. It cost more than I had planned but it was worth it.

Nice work Dave.

I appreciate all the threads

Have a lift - hopefully this spring it moves.

Been designing planning a garage expansion for 2+ years. Getting yelled at to get off the computer a quick post.

I'm sorry, that's a bummer. I love the snow, I know it can be a headache but for it to all melt away in a few weeks is a bummer.

I would have a non stop, ear to ear grin if I never saw snow again. I need to move to Southern CA - that's where I belong

Dave your garage 'Rocks'.

Doug your garage is aptly named for your scuderia = stables.

And guys you can keep that snow!! Sure, looks romantic but how much romance does a bloke really need?

Dave helped me with my add on this summer. He spent countless hours on the phone with me working through typical issues. The inside will have to wait till summer. Im worn out!!! Vaulted ceilings and door running up slope.
