Fuel and oil choice

Hello all

I'm looking for opinions on what fuel you use In your 308 or 328 ferrari? Also, are you concerned about ethanol?

And, what oil do you use in your car? (Brand? Synthetic? Weight?)

I'm in the southeastern us, if it matters

Thanks!

Drew

I own a 328 and have been working on the professionally since they were new cars.

I use Redline 5-40. Any good quality synthetic 5-40 will do.

I am a believer in usng premium fuel in any motor that will be run hard. It just give a better margin of detonation protection if someting isn't perfect. Also no gas in the US, from coast to coast is as good as it was in the 80's.

Brian - thanks for the input. I'll keep this in mind

One follow-up is about ethanol in premium gas. Do you have an opinion (or experience) of damage that ethanol can do? Should it be avoided?

Thanks!

All of the oxygenates are bad.

Unless you have a time machine there really is no good gas, at least in the US except for race gas.

If you still have the cat on your car don't use race gas unless you find unleaded! Standard Cam 2 purple is loaded with lead
