308 GTSi Wheels

First Off I am sorry for the ignorant question. I want to put some aftermarket rims on my 1980 308 GTSi, but I am clueless about the offset. I would like for some of you experts (no disrespect intended on that comment) to give this ignorant owner the best looking diameter and biggest offset I can put on my car. I want to thank you in advance for taking the time to answer my question!

Funny, I have a list of wheel sizes and offsets, but never got around to adding the 308s. There are are some wheels made for the 308 you might consider from Carobu Engineering.

Guess I should add 308s to the list. Various owners have fitted narrowed 360 wheels, 348 wheels, etc.

Thank you Taz, I really want to find some wheels that have a slender spoke and preferably a 5 spoke style. What I need to find out is what will fit within the wheel wells. I can see from your link that a 7.5x17 with a 225/45-17 will fit the front and a 9x17 with a 255/40-17 will fit the rear. Now I have to find out the off set. I will send that company a email and ask if they will give me the off sets.

So thank you for the help!!!!

You can of course still get the Original 220/55VR390 Michelin TRX which will make the car more of a pleasure to drive than having too lower profile tyres and too wide foot print.
