Good color, down hill from there
So I found a 98 F355 locally that looked good in the ad. As it was on the way home, I stopped Friday (1/24) to take a look at it. And thanks to all the help from everyone on this site, I was able to see that this car would not be mine. The current owner does most of the work himself, which doesn't bother me as he has great records (including pictures) of all the work he did. The current owner also has some service records from previous owners. Besides the fact that the exhaust manifolds have not been changed, valve guides have not been replaced even though a leak down test showed some loss in pressure (previous owner), the really big item that told me to walk away was the current owner bought the car in 2005, and has not done a belt service
The only record of a belt service was at the 15,000 mile major service. So, on to the next one.
