Been there, done that. No place for people with fear of heights. I didn't drive as my drivers license was suspended for 2 months.

A great pass but lots of speed controls in the high season. I drive it regularly since it is next to where I live.

The only thing which puzzles me is why filming on the way down? Going up is the cream when taking a pass.

Very nice nevertheless.

Salve,
Capo

I think it takes more guts to do something like that (going downhill) as engine / brake control is far more important, no doubt it is more fun going up.
No forgiveness downhill on such a road!

Altho I had my first experience with similar roads in the last FLED 6 Scotland last year, every time I see such roads, I am full of envy.

So then, every now and then you hop on a plane to Milan or to Zurich-Lugano and we go driving! - as simple as that!

Indeed so!

This place is full of curvy roads and smack in the middle of world famous mountain passes. They have 100 octane race fuel on tap, food is excellent, the local wines are great, 300 days of sunshine/year and prostitution is legal. As simple as that...

Search no more, brother! It's all here in my home canton of Ticino - your new relax place when you need a weekend away.
