So I was faced with a dilemma this weekend... A Ferrari trip, incorporating an overnight with fellow F-Lifer '575er' including test drives of the F12 and 458 Spider... or a Mountain Bike adventure blasting down the side of the Mourne mountains in beautiful Northern Ireland.
Can't do both? Well thats what I thought until I stood in the garage scratching my head and looking from the Dino to the bike and back again.
Who ever said a Dino GT4 was an impractical car?
Hope you're all keeping well folks
Ferrari's: 360 Modena, 550 Maranello
Ex's: Dino 308 GT4, 612 Scaglietti
The Rest: Rolls Royce Silver Shadow, Porsche 911 2.7s, Porsche 911 3.2 Carerra, Ducati 916... and the Land Rovers
Hmmmm, now Barry at some stage on our run I'm expecting a go in your little black beauty, and that means putting the drivers seat on the back chocks. We might have to break the mountain bike down to its component parts because it's definitely not going into 575M.... Well not all of it anyway.
I'm really looking forward to this weekend, driving the F12 I think will be a real buzz for me being a V12 addict, but I have a sneaking suspicion I'm going to be more enamoured with the 458 spider for some reason. It is just so fantastic looking in the flesh.
And after all the high octane, we can have a few beers and watch Australia play Ireland in the rugby (my loyalties will be once more tested) before sitting down to dinner.
What were you saying about mountain biking Sunday.......

Thanks Michael. Seeing your Monaro has flooded me with so many memories. My first car back in 1977 was an RT Charger and one of my mates had your Monaro. The fun we had back then. Extremely fast but when it came to the corners I soon had to learn how to powerslide! Ha ha.
