308/328 Chris Alston Varishock catalog

Attention 308/328 guys wanting to modernize your shocks and springs. Here is a link to the new catalog for the Chris Alston Varishock catalog. These are quality bits, that I had on my previous 77 308. My newer 87 328 is crying out for firmer, more modern shocks/springs, which should also be lighter than the OEM KONIs.

I'm no expert, so, could the experts among us have a look at the new catalog and figure out the pieces to the puzzle? This new catalog is offering a sort of "buffet" of parts to customize any fitment. I remember I had to shim out the top mount eyes on my 77 to fit the mount point, maybe the new catalog has the proper shock eye bushings at the proper width.

Here's the link to the downloadable PDF:

Thanks!

Does anybody have stock Koni 308/328 measurements? I can certainly take the measurements myself on my car, but if somebody knows the following currently, it'll be a big help to all of us:

1) resting OEM/stock length of front and rear Koni shocks, centerpoint mount to centerpoint mount.

2) width of the shock mount at both ends. The Koni mounts are fairly wide, this is where I had to shim out with my previous car. The new Varishock catalog has a variety of mount ends, and I think this is a major selling point for these shocks. (could be wrong, I need the specific width to be sure)

3) distance from spring perch, top and bottom, to the end of shock.

Thanks guys,
Greg
