A year and a half later

Just rolled 38,000 miles this weekend, which means in approximately 18 months of ownership I've enjoyed 10,000 miles. That's more than any other of the 7 prior owners, and there's no end in sight. Granted, I've done a lot of work during the off-time that is the rainy season around here, but that's an adventure all its own.

I've got my health, a great family, a decent job, and when it comes to cars the one of my dreams.

Here's some pictures from this weekend to celebrate.

Jeff- Very pretty and the more you drive her, the happier she will be.

And the more you drive her, the happier YOU'LL be!!

Great pictures and a timeless car.

Reports from home say Seattle is having a heat wave. Pictures confirm perfect driving weather. Enjoy it while it lasts!

Of all the narcissists I know, I love me the most.

Absolutely true: We skipped over the typical "June-uary" rain and went right to summer. From a driver's perspective, it's shaping up to be one of the best years for quite a while. The only significant rain we've had was last week - and boy did it pour! Still, every weekend has had at least one nice day - no one's complaining.

Thanks. That was what drew me to this particular model. It retains the sense of timeless beauty from the 308, but with refinements that clean up the look in my opinion. I'm still pinching myself every time I go out to the garage. The plan is to keep it and drive it -- I didn't buy it as a show car or as an investment -- so the smiles should just keep on coming.

I bought my 365bb in September 1984. 30-odd years later and it still gives me tingles to see her in the garage. Despite a recent lofty financial offer to send her to a new home, I just can't see selling her. There's something very special about these cars...Enjoy her in good health, Jeff!

Does that beauty 365 get out of the garage, or is she still posing for FSoB photo ops?

She moves around a bit; shopping, pizza runs and the Home depot...that kind of stuff.

I can see it now: 365 + Home Depot parking lot. Nice picture, that.

TacElf - congratulations!! Happiness is paramount in life - and many fail to achieve it at your level... many wishes for continued smiles!

David - I was wondering which piece of the 365 you're taking with you to Home Depot?

Awesome!

Just found this. Congrats on a beautiful and DRIVEN machine! I have an 87 GTB, and they are gorgeous and great-driving. My car is currently in the shop getting all new upper-end gaskets and seals to correct a pesky small oil leak. Once I get her back, I'm finally going to have the chance to enjoy her.

I bought her 1.5 years ago and the leak became progressively worse, so I parked it. David here helped me troubleshoot a hard-start problem, ended up being a bad flywheel sensor. I think you posted on that thread here as well. Got that fixed and now she's getting some TLC at Sphere Motors in Houston.

Enjoy that beauty!
