348 Special versus 348 Spyder

I have it narrowed to 2 cars
1983 348 speciale 20K fresh belt service in good daily driving condition
versus
1995 348 Syder with 28K fresh belt service in great condition
Both are priced within 500.00 of each other,
Colors the same
I need some help here as I am undecided between the 2,
I have never had a convertible car, just a Top off like I have in my QV.

Opinons would be appreciated
Thanks

If the Speciale is in very good shape and has everything a Speciale should have, I'd grab it.

Not many of those around, and they have very nice options.

+1 on the S Speciale very rare and will maintain their value a little higher, I was not aware they made them back in 83 though HAHAHA I know typo.

But there is nothing and I mean nothing like driving a convertible and driving a convertible Ferrari forget about it. Hot summer day top down engine making unmistakable Ferrari music and at 7000 rmp You are one with the Universe .

Warning if you are not use to a convertible and especially a Ferrari spider be aware of road noise, more body flexing, and in rain bring towels she leaks bad lol. But it`s all worth it driving one of the most beautiful drop tops ever built.

Good luck

+1 Roberto.. There are faster cars than the 348 Spider but.. It's an absolutely amazing experience on a nice day with the top down the sound of the engine going through the gears and the world in view open above and around you. There are convertible people and then everyone else. Drive them both and see which one you are, very different experiences, both great cars, but different.
