Daytona Overhaul & ezy power steering

Good morning,

I've got the engine & transaxle pulled down for overhaul, new pistons/valves/bearings & synchros etc, whilst down, I'm considering fitting the Ezy power steering kit, has anyone on the forum any experience with these systems on their Daytona?
regards, Andy.

Andy- In the olden days, many Daytona owners fitted the 365 GTC/4 system and were happy with the results. Most of the ones I have read about that fitted the electric steering system were Testarossas, so hard to draw a parallel between a mid-engine rack and pinion Ferrari and a front engine recirculating ball Ferrari. Would have been handy on my old Daytona at low speeds.

My dad has an EZ system on his Spyder conv and I have a 400 pas pump on my Daytona. I compared the tow here

Along came a (Daytona) Spyder | Drive Cult

Since I wrote this some further fettling has reduced the dead spot at the centre somewhat on the EZ car but my Dad is of the view that the setup on mine works better, but is much more difficult to install.
