Nardi wheel diameters - 365 GTC

Hello to all, in particular my good friends from years past. You know who you are!

I have a burning Ferrari mistery that I have been unable to solve on my own; perhaps an expert can help me?

I have just finished restoring a 365 GTC (well, another 3 weeks are necessary). The steering wheel has a diameter of 400mm (15.75 inches). It looks small, I dislike it, and my good friend has a 365 GTC with a wheel diameter of 420mm (16.5 inches), that feels and looks much better.

Nardi makes the same wheels new with measures of 380mm (15 inches) and 420mm (16.5 inches).

Here are the "mysteries":

Did all 365 GTC's come from the factory with a 420mm wheel?

Why does mine have a 400mm wheel?

Were 380 and 400mm wheels optional?

Did other models come with different measure wheels (275, 365 2+2)?

Thank you very much for any information you might have!

Cheers to all,

Julio Batista

Welcome back, Julio, good to see you're still fighting the good fight!

I'm not too sure about your query, but I have a feeling owners could easily have asked for a different size wheel if they wanted. I'm not too sure about the size of the wheel in my 330GTC, and unfortunately I can't go and check it for you anymore.
