In search for a Daytona front light lift motor

The motor of the right side pop-up light on my "D" went bust. Gladly, my mechanic was able to replace it for the intermediate time being by taking it from another car. However he tried to organize one in the UK....unsuccessfull. Anybody any idea where to get such a Motor. (Remaking the old broken one seems no option as it looks unrepairable ?

As always any help or hint very welcome ! Thanks !

Your best bet is probably to have the original motor reconditioned. Suggest you contact wheels1 Ferrari Life - View Profile: wheels1 as he has just done a full restoration on his Daytona and might be able to provide a reference.

Hi 212Export, did you try at La Scuderia Rossa ? They often have classic Ferrari components.

ciao

Dear Mauro

Suddenly it seems I have found 3 independent provider of that part. Seems to come down to the pricing question. Thank you so much for the hint. Very worthwhile.

Will get a right AND left new, never used but old original front light actuater motor tommorrow. The swiss offer was the nearest, fastest to deliver AND cheapest offer and the only one never used but original. As the left one was the last on stock I decided to take that one as well as I expect "murphy" to wait around the corner.

I would like again to thank you all for your great help.

212- I would have the old ones rewound just in case.
