Jets for Daytona's

After a long search all over europe, we finally found the correct jets for my Daytona...in Switzerland !.
It was a interesting (and exhausting) search. Interesting because Maranello Concessionaires in the UK over a period of 7 weeks sended 3 times the wrong Jet types and finally confessed to miss the correct ones. Exactly the same thing happened with them regarding the correct screws for fixing the fuel lines on the side of the carburetors. The ordering was done by the official swiss ferrari concessionaire...

So I asked myself if you guys have made some bad experience with the competence of Maranello concessionaires as well ? And further, where do you order those carburetor parts for 60 -70 F'cars normally ?

Pierce Manifolds in California. They are the Weber distributor here.

MC is not the company it once was. I am afraid Roger Penske's ownership has not been a benefit as far as vintage Ferrari parts is concerned. From my understanding that will get much worse. The bean counters do not see it as a profitable enough part of the business to continue pursuing it.

It's very sad really, MC has been a real resource for a long time. Classiche will never be able to replace them.

212- When Maranello Concessionaires split into three entities, sales, service, and Maranello Classic Parts, many of their new old stock parts were sold. Ferrari Parts in Sacramento picked up quite a few, so it may also be worthwhile contacting them. Parts like Weber jets are kind of esoteric for many parts suppliers, however, and a Weber specialist will at least know what you are discussing.
