Contact Kimuel Lee at 225-205-1675. Tell him his buddy from Chicago referred you. He constantly purchases salvaged titled vehicles from insurance companies at auctions. He can get you any exotic vehicle you want. I recently purchased a chasis on a Lamborghini from him. Why do you need a wrecked 360 if you do not mind me asking? Good luck in your endeavors.

Hi Lambo, thanks for the reaction, I'm just a big fan of the ferrari 360 Modena, and I love to rebuild a wrecked model.
I got enough time, and I like the challenge about rebuilding.
Other issue is the prices of Dutch cars, f.i. the ferrari i TOOO expensive in the Netherlands and with a imported wreck I can save lots of spoiled money.
I hope I satisfied your interest.

Anyway I'm going to call the guy you refered.

Hi, welcome.

Yup, know of a few that are ready for you and they carry the spare parts to put it together.

Where are you located?

http://ferraripartsexchange.com/damagedcars.htm

if not currently there, they'll know of someone/somewhere.

Guessing you are just wanting to either get one on the 'cheap' and don't care about the bling [good for you] or if you are looking to a track car [good starter], then ok. BUT if you are looking for a shinny hopefully recoup car that will later be worth a near, untouched 360, then you truly will be wasting your time. They do NOT fair well if totaled for resale unless, tracking, or just wanting a lower costing example.

Hi boxer, I'm from the Netherlands, Europe,
but I prefer purchasing in the US, because of the financial benefits.

Hi rik, I'm located in the Netherlands, but I prefer to purchase in the US, see early reply.
I'm just looking for a cheap wrecked 360, which I can rebuild with original parts.
I have enough spare time, and I'm definately NOT hunting for financial advantage when my rebuild is completed.
The car will be mine till I die, I just want to enjoy to own such a model, then get a other model, or something like that.

So I'm not looking for economic advantage, only at the purchase of a wrecked chasis,

please keep me updated for any news.

thanks so far,

mike

There is a red CS for sale in LA. It's split in two so it will take a while to piece together!!!

Just what I was hoping for and GOOD for you. I have thought about such as often as I want a track car...My Insurance would be toast on my regular cars.

Infineon has track days, where for a very small fee [lucky to have it locally] will allow you to race about: perfect.

would get it out of my system and that would be nice to mod a ferrari my way...not saying Ferrari cannot build a good car, but taking out the 'stuff' and just blasting it would be to do on my list.

We'll keep you informed, Greg GCallo has a better access, but many others here do also.

The 360 is a great car with which to do mods, and the mods produce great results as well.

I just put new front springs in mine. After I get it lowered a bit this week, it will be realigned.

I drove it this W/E and the performance difference with the front end is very, very noticeable.

So find your car and I'd be glad to help you with what you would like to do as well as to direct you to good parts sources.

Rik,

I was too busy today to go to Brian's. I will tomorrow.

Try Eurospares in the UK. They have a wrecked LHD 360 Challenge Stradale.

Not sure you are going to save much importing from the US. You will still have to pay VAT and import duties which can add $$$$$ quickly.
