F450

Anyone here, hear much on this new model?

I read in Cavallino that it will not be porting much from the 430, but have a lot of new.

I just learned about this myself yesterday talking to a friend. What surprised me was that he heard it will be available in Europe by the end of this year. I believe the car will make its debut at the Frankfurt show in September.

I have to believe that Ferrari has learned the GM trick. Keep changing the dress but it's the same underneath!

Surprisingly the 360, 360 CS, and the 430 all use the identical underpinnings- suspension, brakes, etc.

I just replaced my front springs with slightly high pressure and thought I would use the CS lower bushings and torsion bar. I was very surprised to discover that all the suspension components are the same and are the same on the 430!

Surprisingly the Quattroporte uses the 360 coil overs and suspension components!

I highly doubt the 450 will be much different underneath. Ferrari invested a great deal of $ developing the aluminum undercarriage for the 360 and I'd believe they have a long way to go to amortize that cost!

WORSE than GM, is Porsche. Sorry, but it is iconic in venue, but iconic in venue......

The 450 seems to be much more than window dressing.

ALSO heard about the 'NEW' 430 CM, only, what, 299 of them to be built this year at request?

It's been introduced. Are the parts usable?

No access yet. I will check again later.

The database access for new models is usually limited to actual vehicle intos. So I will again check.
