TDC Tool Needed

I am looking for a TDC tool that will screw into a 10 mm plug opening for the 360's.

I know Hill Engineering makes a full set, but I need only the 10 mm piece. Hill does not sell the tools individually.

Is anyone aware of the availability of such a tool?

It's critical to doing belts, etc, on the 360's.

Found

this tool someone 'invented', modified from 'other place'.

Looks like a good mod.....Basically, he took a standard item, and just put extensions, which he found on the internet, that makes the extensions from 2"-12" mods only cost him about $20

nice. [reprinted without permission from Ray Johns, West Coast, who has a 2001 Ferrari 360 ]

I saw that but was looking for a unit that will screw into the 10 mm spark plug threads to reach down into the cylinder for accurate measurements of TDC.

Hill makes a whole set for $500. I don't need a whole set though.

Not being a machinist I don't know. It certainly should not be overly tough I would guess.

You make one master with 10 mm threads and then offer the female 10 mm thread to 14 mm external adapter, etc.

just bought, now that you mention it, a hobby metal lathe from Harbor Frieght/tools

$99...was an out of box item that went for $250+

When I send the MOndial T to Brian C's first week of March, I'll box it up for you and you can have at it....I used to mess with one, making rube-goldberg devices back in the mid-70's and threatened to acquire one again, for what? don't know, they are kuooool....

let me know...not rush on returning, just returning would be appreciated.

PS: can't even certify it's worthiness...ya' loose body parts: don't sue. [no, really, don't sue]
